I take great pride and care in offering as much food as we can that is either Cornish produced or made by me at Roscrea…….
Breakfast – the most important meal of the day at Roscrea.
Choose from a wide selection of cereals, including my own recipe homemade muesli – bursting with fruit and nuts; or maybe start your day with some fresh fruit and yoghurt.
Your stay at Roscrea would not be complete without you sampling a Cornish Breakfast.
Eggs are my specialty – laid by local free range hens.
Fried, poached, scrambled or boiled, with creamy yolks the most wonderful deep golden colour – I am certain you will taste the difference.
Add to this the locally produced pork sausages, unsmoked back bacon and traditional hogs pudding, together with my homemade bread, jam and marmalade and you will be truly set-up for the day ahead.
On Sundays I serve a help-yourself buffet Continental breakfast because I am part of the management team for Bodmin junior parkrun: a free, timed 2k run for 4 to 11 year olds.
“I cater for all dietary needs but do require some notice for vegetarian, gluten-free and any other specific allergies. Unfortunately I cannot serve any alcoholic drinks – we’re not licensed – so bring your own wine – we will happily provide glasses and a corkscrew!”
